Privacy policy
Information, choices, and ways to contact us.
Effective October 2, 2026
Human at the Origin LLC operates this educational website. This policy describes information handled when you visit the site or contact us.
Information and hosting
This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace and its service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, access times, and errors to deliver and protect the website. Depending on the enabled settings, Squarespace analytics may also provide information about visits and use of the site.
Cookies and similar technologies may support site functions and analytics. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls displayed on this website. Blocking cookies may affect some features. See Squarespace’s Privacy Policy and information about its cookies.
Correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and the information you choose to include. We use this information to respond, manage correspondence, and address requests. Our email provider may process it to supply its services. Contacting us does not by itself subscribe you to marketing messages.
Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, payment details, or other sensitive personal information. This website does not provide patient intake or clinical messaging. Contact a clinical practice directly through its designated channels for care.
Resources, Toys, and external links
The current Toys page describes creative and educational projects; it does not ask you to enter information into an interactive experiment. Resource, podcast, blog, social, and practice links take you to separate websites. Those services may collect information under their own privacy policies. This policy does not govern them.
Use, retention, and disclosure
We use information to operate and protect the website, respond to correspondence, and meet legal obligations. Hosting, email, and supporting providers may process information needed for these purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or address misuse, subject to applicable law.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for these purposes and applicable legal obligations. Provider retention and backup arrangements may also apply. No website, email service, or storage system is completely secure.
Choices and requests
You may contact us about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law; we may need to verify a request. Do not send sensitive identification documents in an initial email. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may also contact us.
Clinical services
Grant H. Brenner’s private practice and Brighter NeuroTherapeutics are separate clinical destinations. Their own privacy policies, patient notices, and intake processes apply. This website policy is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
Updates and contact
Changes will appear on this page with an updated date. Additional notice or consent will be provided when required.
